Alex Villas Among Indonesia's Top Ten Developers — Hubexo Asia Awards 2026

The certificate is deep purple, and the name printed on it is short: ALEX VILLAS. On 15 September 2026 in Jakarta, Amenda Sarah Siregar, director of Alex Villas Group, accepted it on behalf of the team, together with the trophy for Top Ten Developers 2026 at the Hubexo Asia Awards. Alex Villas is one of ten development companies on the organiser’s list for Indonesia this year.

Sarah’s own path to that moment is part of the story: she started at the company as a manager. So is the path of the company itself, which began in Bali by welcoming guests rather than selling homes.

What the Top Ten recognises

The Hubexo Asia Awards were founded in 2005 and, until 2025, were known as the BCI Asia Awards. They are run by Hubexo, whose Asian business was previously known as BCI Central, and the Top Ten list is published separately for each country. The organiser’s published criteria define the Top Ten as “the firms with the greatest aggregate value of projects under construction during the last full calendar year by the extent of their sustainability and confirmed Green building ratings”.

The list measures the scale of a developer’s projects in the year assessed, not their completion. On the organiser’s list, the entry for Alex Villas names Grey Villa among the group’s recent projects.

From guest check-ins to six completed complexes

Alex Villas has been on the Bali market since 2015, and it did not start as a developer. It started with villa management — with guests, not buyers. Hospitality taught the company what guests expect from a villa long after the keys are handed over.

The complexes followed: one through six, plus a series of individual villas. Over a hundred units have been handed over to clients. The most recent completed complex, Complex 6 at Echo Beach, has 53 units — 28 apartments, 16 smart villas and nine townhouses.

The Hubexo award is not the group’s first. In 2024 its projects won three PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards, including Best Housing Development (Bali) for Complex 3 in Pererenan.

Guests every day, production of its own

Development is the visible side of Alex Villas. Hospitality is the side that works every day. The group’s own management company runs the completed complexes: guests check in daily, and the company has a Superhost track record on Airbnb, with thousands of guest reviews behind it.

Behind the construction side stand the group’s production companies for concrete, steel fabrication and furniture — from the walls of a villa to the furniture guests sit on.

From manager to director

Sarah joined Alex Villas as a manager. Over the years she took on more and more responsibility, was promoted step by step, and today she is the director of Alex Villas Group — the person who accepted the award in Jakarta.
